CLASS DESCRIPTIONS / INSTRUCTORS

BOOT CAMP

This workout includes intervals of cardio and resistance training and will kick your butt! All in an energetic, motivating and fun environment! If you want to sweat, burn fat and build muscle this class is for you. All fitness levels are welcome. This is a 3 or 4 week session.

PILATES / YOGA FUSION

Tone and strengthen your body.  Improve your posture.  Learn to connect with your core muscles. Let your body respond to the mind/body integration that is so important with exercise. Any fitness level is welcome.  Free to members.  Non- members are able to drop in or purchase a class pass.  All new participants are required to have a ½ hour private introductory session before their first class.  Call to book an appointment.

YOGA NIDRA

Soothe your jangled nerves!  Calm your busy mind!  We will start with some pranayama (breathing exercises) to centre you after a busy day and then we will sink into a blissful “yoga sleep”.  You deserve this!  Free to members.  Non-members are able to drop in or purchase a class pass.

ZUMBA!

Come and join the party! This is the biggest craze to hit the fitness studio! Zumba is a fun and exhilarating cardio workout with easy-to-follow moves. No dance skills required. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Free to members. Non-members are able to drop in or sign up for 4 week sessions.

GENTLE HATHA YOGA (Yoga of the Body)

This is a gentle and flowing yoga. Quiet the inner chatter of your mind and experience the healing powers of your body. Learn to rest, relax and restore. Honor your limits and protect your injuries. Gain knowledge on proper breathing techniques. This is wonderful for anyone needing an escape! All levels welcome! Members can pay for one class at a time or buy a package and use them when you can! Non-members are able to drop in or sign up for 4 week sessions.
